Three Children Abducted from Bus Stop in Fishersville, Virginia

Urgent AMBER Alert Issued in Virginia Following Kidnapping of Three Children

On the morning of December 5, 2024, an alarming incident occurred in Fishersville, Virginia, where three children were reportedly kidnapped from a bus stop. The Augusta County Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 8:27 a.m. from a concerned parent who witnessed the abduction at the Bobby’s Way Apartment complex.

Virginia State Police have classified the incident as an emergency, issuing an AMBER Alert shortly thereafter. The children, identified as 10-year-old Jai’Marcus Lewis, 8-year-old Ja’Miyah Lewis, and 6-year-old Ja’Liyah Lewis, are currently believed to be in “extreme danger.” Police are actively seeking public assistance in locating them.

Descriptions of the Children

The children were last seen at around 7:40 a.m. on Thursday, dressed in the following:

  • Jai’Marcus Lewis: 10 years old, Black male, 5’0”, 80 pounds, wearing a black and dark blue jacket with neon zippers.
  • Ja’Miyah Lewis: 8 years old, Black female, 3’6”, 70 pounds, wearing a pink coat.
  • Ja’Liyah Lewis: 6 years old, Black female, 3’0”, 40 pounds, also in a pink coat.

Details of the Abduction

According to police reports, a black four-door vehicle approached the bus stop where the children were waiting, and the children were taken shortly thereafter. Authorities believe that the children are potentially with their biological mother, Shanice Chante Davison, 35 years old, 5’6”, about 184 pounds, with black hair and eyes.

It’s reported that the suspect may be driving a black newer model Nissan Sentra with an unknown license plate. As investigations unfold, the public is urged to remain vigilant.
