Hugh Jackman has seemingly confirmed his relationship with Sutton Foster following his divorce from Deborra-Lee Furness. The couple was spotted enjoying an evening together in Santa Monica, California, holding hands and smiling. This outing has led to widespread speculation that their romance is official.
Jackman, 56, and Furness, 69, who share two children, announced their divorce in a joint statement released in September 2023. The statement read: ‘We have been blessed to share almost 3 decades together as husband and wife in a wonderful, loving marriage.’ They added, ‘Our journey now is shifting and we have decided to separate to pursue our individual growth.’ They emphasized that their family will always be their highest priority and requested privacy during this transition.
Having first met in 1995 on the set of the Aussie prison drama Correlli, Jackman and Furness married in 1996 and welcomed their first child, Oscar, in 2000, followed by the adoption of their daughter, Ava, in 2005.
Jackman and Furness split in September 2023. After the separation, Jackman has been linked to Broadway star Sutton Foster, age 49. The two co-starred in the 2022 revival of The Music Man.
During her time working with Jackman, Foster remarked: ‘He’s one of the greatest guys ever, an incredible costar.’ Both performers have publicly praised each other, indicating a strong professional bond long before romance rumors emerged.
As speculation about their relationship grew, sources indicated that the two are ‘100 percent together’ and are happy in their new romance.
