Houston Rodeo Concert 2025 Set to Thrill Audiences
The highly anticipated Houston Rodeo concert will be held from March 4 to March 23 this year, featuring a diverse lineup of artists including Reba McEntire, Zach Top, Journey, Post Malone, Parker McCollum, Warren Zeiders, and Charley Crockett. The Houston Press indicates that many performers will be taking the stage for the first time.
According to a report from Essence magazine, rapper Bun B will headline the concert on March 7, coinciding with Black Heritage Day. Bun B plans to address important themes related to Houston’s diversity during his performance.
The Houston Rodeo is also renowned for its culinary offerings, particularly its fried food, and has made a significant impact on the livestock, entertainment, and rodeo industries since its inception. Noteworthy historical moments include a performance by Elvis Presley in the 1970s, who famously pledged $100,000 to Texas colleges. The event has hosted millions of attendees at NRG Stadium over the last two decades.
Exciting Lineup Details
McEntire’s performance will mark her 20th appearance at the rodeo, while the Houston Rodeo’s president and CEO Chris Boleman expressed enthusiasm about this year’s lineup, stating, ‘Nine entertainers will be performing for the first time this year, along with some hall-of-fame artists returning after a long absence.’ He emphasized:
“Each season, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo aims to bring a strong lineup of artists that reflect our Western roots while offering an array of music that embraces Houston’s culture.”
Tickets for the Houston Rodeo will be released in two phases, starting March 4 and concluding on March 23. Customers can access the waiting room 30 minutes before the sale begins, allowing only ten tickets per transaction. Ticket prices range as follows:
