KRON – Yelp has released its highly anticipated list of the best Chinese restaurants across the United States for the year, spotlighting four exceptional eateries in the Bay Area.
The following Bay Area restaurants have earned spots in Yelp’s top 100 Chinese establishments:
- No. 10: Oyama BBQ in Newark
- No. 57: 606 in San Francisco
- No. 70: China Palace in Walnut Creek
- No. 80: Dumpling Home in San Francisco
Oyama BBQ, ranked 10th, is renowned for its ‘juicy and flavorful’ skewers, featuring a range of options including beef, lamb, gizzards, rice, mushrooms, chicken skin, and even grilled rice cakes.
In San Francisco, the popular restaurant 606 has received glowing reviews for its salt and pepper fish, along with Simon garlic chicken. Dumpling Home, also in the city, is celebrated for its dim sum, bao, and an array of scrumptious dumplings, earning it recognition from Michelin as a Bib Gourmand establishment.
Over in the East Bay, China Palace has made a name for itself with beloved dishes like sweet and sour soup, honey walnut prawns, and orange chicken.
California as a whole performed impressively in Yelp’s rankings, securing a total of 15 spots on the list. Leading the state’s representation is Dumpling Yo! in Sacramento, which has taken the impressive No. 3 position. Meanwhile, the upscale Wagyu House by The X Pot in Southern California secured seventh place on the list.
