2024 Heisman Trophy Finalists Announced

The awaited announcement regarding the finalists for the 2024 Heisman Trophy was made on Friday, December 13, during the Top 10 Heisman Trophy Finalists Show presented by Nissan on ESPN. Both excitement and curiosity filled the air as the competition for college football’s most prestigious award heats up.
Top Ten Finalists
This year’s list includes several outstanding players, rounding out the top 10 so far. The top four finishers— Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter, Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty, and Miami quarterback Cam Ward— were announced earlier this week. The remaining six players who have made it to the top 10 are:
- 5th Place: Arizona State RB Cam Skattebo
- 6th Place: Army QB Bryson Daily
- 7th Place: Penn State TE Tyler Warren
- 8th Place: Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders
- 9th Place: Indiana QB Kurtis Rourke
- 10th Place: Syracuse QB Kyle McCord
Notable Accomplishments
Among the noteworthy highlights this year, Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders represent Colorado in the top 10, marking the first time that two players from the Buffaloes have received this recognition in the Heisman race. Cam Skattebo’s performance also stands out as he becomes Arizona State’s highest finisher since quarterback Jake Plummer’s third place in 1996.
The Heisman trophy winner will be officially announced during the televised Heisman Trophy ceremony, taking place on Saturday, December 14, at 8 p.m. ET, exclusively on ESPN.
