Jackson Area Schools Closed Due to Adverse Weather

JACKSON COUNTY, MI — Students in the Jackson area will have a day off from school on Thursday, Dec. 12, due to snowy winter weather and hazardous road conditions. The closures affect multiple school districts across the region.
The following schools are currently reported to be closed:
- Concord Community School District
- East Jackson Community Schools
- Grass Lake Community Schools
- Michigan Center School District
- Napoleon Community Schools
- Northwest Community Schools
- Vandercook Lake Public Schools
