  • The Palisades Fire: This fire started on Monday in the Pacific Palisades, reportedly sparked by a backyard fire. It has spread rapidly, destroying numerous homes and leading to evacuations.

  • Hollywood Hills Fire: A new fire erupted Wednesday evening near Runyon Canyon, adding to the already dire situation. Fire Chief Kristin Crowley stated, ‘We are throwing all of our available resources at it as we speak.’

Evacuation Efforts
